Pricing questions

Are prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. Every displayed price is in Canadian dollars (CAD), per location, with applicable taxes extra.

Is pricing per restaurant or per device?

Per location. Each plan includes a set number of operational device licences (Core: 1, Growth: 4, Scale: 8), and additional devices are $29 per device per month.

What is billed annually?

The annual rate is invoiced once per year: Core $1,548, Growth $2,988, Scale $4,788.

What happens when I add a location?

Pricing is per location: each new location adds its own subscription and its own included device licences.

What is an operational device licence?

An operational device licence is software access assigned to a supported POS terminal, handheld, kitchen display, customer display or token display. Physical hardware is sold separately. Guest phones using Scan & Order do not consume operational device licences.

Is hardware included?

No. Physical hardware is sold separately and you own it. The standard Launch Kit is $2,299 one-time for 4 devices.

Do I own the hardware?

Yes. Novaryq does not require an in-house equipment lease; hardware you purchase is yours.

Can I use my current hardware?

Possibly. Existing devices may be evaluated and must meet the published minimum requirements. Compatibility is confirmed before onboarding, and customer-owned hardware does not receive a Novaryq hardware warranty.

What does onboarding include?

Restaurant discovery and configuration review, menu import or guided setup within defined limits, categories, modifiers and taxes, device provisioning, staff and manager orientation, test orders, a go-live checklist and launch-day coordination within the agreed scope.

Is support available 24/7?

Standard support is included on every plan; Scale adds priority support. Enterprise service levels are defined by contract. Novaryq does not advertise a staffed 24/7 help desk.

Are payment-processing fees included?

No. Payment processing is billed separately by the processor (Helcim). Novaryq is not the payment facilitator.

Does Novaryq charge a commission on direct orders?

No — there is no Novaryq commission on direct online orders. Payment-processing, courier and third-party delivery fees may still apply.

Are courier and delivery fees included?

No. Courier, third-party delivery and marketplace charges are billed separately by those providers.

How are AI, voice and SMS billed?

Separately, based on usage. Applicable rates or allowances are shown before activation. No unlimited usage is included.

Are DoorDash, Uber Eats and Skip integrations live?

DoorDash, Uber Eats and Skip marketplace integrations are in progress.

What works during an internet outage?

Cash order entry can continue through an internet outage using the supported offline workflow. Card payments require connectivity and resume when the connection returns.

Is payroll processing included?

Scheduling, time tracking, labour records and payroll preparation with export-ready data. Novaryq does not file or remit payroll taxes.

Is there a month-to-month option?

Yes, at a higher monthly rate. Cancellation terms follow your written agreement; annual pricing and the Founding Partner offer carry a commitment.

What happens after the Founding Partner year?

The subscription renews at the then-current annual Growth price unless otherwise agreed in writing. The founding rate is not a lifetime price.
